In order to perform a User Batch Upload or an Activity Data Upload, the document must be a tab-delimited text file. Here is how to get your spreadsheets from different programs exported to tab-delimited text files.

From Excel on PC:

- Click "File" > "Save As..." > "Tab-delimited Text (.txt)"

- Name the document, and click "Save."

- Check the text file to delete any space after the very last "END." Delete NO other spaces, and make no other changes to the document. Save the file.

- Upload the document on the User Batch Upload page (Administrator Menu > Users > "User Batch Upload").

From Excel on Mac:

- Click "File" > "Save As..."

- From the "File Type" drop-down, select "Windows Formatted Text (.txt)"

- Name it and click "Save."

- Check the text file to delete any space after the very last "END." Delete NO other spaces, and make no other changes to the document. Save the file.

- Upload the document on the User Batch Upload page (Administrator Menu > Users > "User Batch Upload").

From Google Sheets on PC:

- Click "File" > "Download As..." > "Tab-separated values (.tsv)"

- Go to where the document was saved. Change the name of the document. Delete the [.tsv] extension and change it to [.txt]. When warned by pop-up that the file might become unusable, click "Yes."

- Upload the document on the User Batch Upload page (Administrator Menu > Users > "User Batch Upload").

From Google Sheets on Mac:

- Click "File" > "Download As..." > "Tab-separated values (.tsv)"

- From the Save window, in the name of the document, change the [.tsv] file extension to [.txt], and click "Save."

- When prompted by pop-up whether to use .tsv or .txt, select ".txt".

- Upload the document on the User Batch Upload page (Administrator Menu > Users > "User Batch Upload").
