Asentia's Email Notifications cause an email to be sent to a selected recipient upon a selected trigger event in the system. All possible trigger events are listed below.

Course Expires – Notifies the recipient when the Access period of an enrollment has ended. If the end of a user's access period is reached and they have not yet taken the course, their enrollment will move from the ‘Enrolled’ tab to the ‘Expired’ tab in their Enrollments widget. Once the course enrollment is on the ‘Expired’ tab, the user will not be able to launch the course.

Course Due – Notifies the recipient when the Due date of a course has occurred. When this occurs, the course will move from the users ‘Enrolled’ tab to the ‘Overdue’ tab in their Enrollments widget. Overdue courses can still be accessed and launched by the user. Only when the Access period passes and the enrollment is moved to the "Expired" will the user not be able to launch the course.
