Automatically Create Groups Named from Unique User-Input Profile Data

  • From the Administrator Menu, click “Grouping Rules.”
  • Select the field in which your users will be putting in text that will determine which group to create and put them in.
  • Leave the “Matches” field blank.
  • For “Join User To:”, select “group with name:” and put “##value##” into the text box. Check the box next to “Create the group if it does not exist.”
  • Click “Save Changes.”
  • Click “Apply All Rules Now” if you would like for the system to create groups based on user inputs in the selected profile field now.
