Symptom: Upon course launch, you receive an error, “Connection to the network has been broken. Click OK to retry or click Cancel. XmlLoader:alertConnectionFailed” Cause: There are several potential causes of this issue. Most Likely Causes and Solutions: 1) CAUSE: The lesson lost connection with the LMS due to slow internet connection. 2) CAUSE: Browser is out of date. 3) CAUSE: Javascript is disabled. 4) CAUSE: Third-party plug-ins are conflicting with the lesson. 5) CAUSE: Browser is in compatibility mode.
If none of the solutions above address the issue, there may be an issue with the coding in your lesson. We at ICS Learning Group have a team of course development experts who have decades of combined knowledge of the SCORM specification, including but not limited to how to address JavaScript issues in courseware, among many other custom eLearning solutions.
