Limit Attempts on a Lesson in Inquisiq
Posted by Jessica D'Apice on 06 April 2018 02:41 PM

In most authoring tools, you can control the maximum number of attempts that a learner may have to take a quiz in a lesson within the authoring tool’s settings and controls. Some very simplified authoring tools do not have this capability. If you are unable to set the attempt limit in the authoring tool, Inquisiq allows you to set the attempt limit in the lesson settings.

  1. From the Administrator Menu, click Courses, then click the name of the course.
  2. Click the Lessons tab.
  3. Under the Modify column, click the gear icon.
  4. In the window that opens, in the box under “Attempt Limit”, put the number of attempts that you would like learners to be able to make to complete and/or pass a lesson. On the last possible attempt, if the learner does not complete and/or pass the lesson, they will be locked out of the lesson, and will not be able to launch the lesson again.
