Articulate Lesson Remains Incomplete After Viewing All Slides
Posted by Mike Link on 08 June 2007 07:45 PM

Symptom:

Articulate lesson status does not change to "completed" even after viewing all the slides in a lesson.

Cause:

The "minimum number of slides viewed to complete" setting contains a number greater than the number of viewable slides in your lesson.

Applies To:

    • Articluate Presenter

Background:

Articulate does not account for slides that are marked as "hidden" in your PowerPoint presentation. The publish dialog allows you to set the "minimum number of slides viewed to complete" to a value up to the total (including hidden) number of slides contained in your presentation. Therefore, the value you enter may be larger than the total number of viewable slides. If this occurs, viewing the lesson from start to finish will not meet the minimum slide requirement and the lesson will remain incomplete.

Resolution:

When exporting your lesson, enter a number equal to or less than the total number of viewable (non-hidden) slides contained in your presentation in the "minimum number of slides viewed to complete" box.
