Skillsoft MIME Types for Windows Servers

For web content to be delivered correctly from a Windows 2003 server, MIME Types must be setup in IIS. Most MIME types are already in the default IIS setup, however some are not and must be manually added. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Open the IIS Manager
  2. Right click the [servername] node and select "Properties"
  3. Select "HTTP Headers Tab" > "MIME Types..."
  4. Click "New"
  5. Enter and add the necessary Extensions and related MIME Types listed below
  6. Restart IIS when all the MIME Types have been entered

Important Note: Skillsoft's documentation lists the MIME-Type for .xsl as 'text/xsl'. This value will cause problems with the course catalog interface of the Administrator Menu within Inquisiq R3. To avoid this, specify the MIME-Type for .xsl as 'text/xml'.
